This picturesque starting point is not only the entryway to the Langtang Valley but also the trailhead for the Tamang HeritageTrail, the Ganesh Himal Trek, and the adventurous climb to Paldor Peak. The trail ascends through dense forests of rhododendron, bamboo, and pine, leading to the charming Lama Hotel. This section introduces trekkers to the diverse flora and fauna of the Langtang National Park, home to exotic wildlife like red pandas, Himalayan black bears, and langurs.
As you progress, the landscape transforms, revealing the stunning Langtang Valley, encircled by towering peaks. The valley is not only a visual delight but also rich in history and culture, as it is inhabited by the Tamang people who maintain their traditional way of life.
